Here are some books I recommend. If you need more detailed communication, you can email me: info@kuroism.com

Eiko Ishioka : Blood, Sweat, and Tears - A Life of Design

Eiko Ishioka was born on July 12, 1938, in Tokyo, Japan. She was a costume designer and director who I deeply admire and consider as my favorite. Not only did she have a unique taste, but her control over color was also exceptional. She made many quiet contributions to the film industry, with some films entirely designed by her. Her most classic works include Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters (1985), Closet Land (1991), Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), The Cell (2000), The Fall (2006), Theresa: The Body of Christ (2007), Immortals (2011), and Mirror Mirror (2012), among others. I strongly recommend watching The Cell (2000), where she artistically packages a psychologically deranged killer.

Wisdom of Life

Personally, I believe that to understand someone, it's essential to delve into their background to comprehend the origin of their thoughts and words. I also think that Schopenhauer's philosophy stemmed from his own experiences and observations. As he didn't need to worry about life or money, his words were not clouded by prejudice. I find his philosophy relatively fair, and upon careful contemplation of his words, one can uncover profound truths.

Thinking, Fast and Slow

By Daniel Kahneman: A comprehensive look at how our minds work, providing valuable insights into how to make better decisions and live a more fulfilling life.

The 4-Hour Body

By Timothy Ferriss that explores unconventional methods to transform the body with minimal time and effort. Published in 2010, it provides simplified paths for better health and fitness. The book covers various topics, including fat loss, muscle gain, improved sleep, injury reversal, and enhanced sex life. Ferriss uses his experiences as a test subject to demonstrate these methods. Despite some criticisms, the book became a #1 New York Times Bestseller and remains popular among those seeking alternative health and fitness routines.
