We recently found a raw slab for the bar counter in our kitchen, which is quite a challenge to find a good piece. Because while there are many raw woods available, they don't necessarily have an attractive appearance. It's a bit like choosing a gemstone – truly, the perfect find is priceless. We compared different slabs and finally chose American black walnut.
The reason we love this particular slab is its shape that somewhat reveals the bark, its growth rings, and the balanced coloration, as well as the visible natural growth patterns.

We will purchase these lights to suspend above the black walnut raw wood table.
When the light is turned on, the bulb is visible, and when it's not in use, it can serve as a decorative piece, Such decor is very suitable for us who are into jewelry design. We plan to combine the knocked-down walls into a mix of faux stone and complete wall surfaces. I don't know if we will do a good job, but if it's not done well, it will look very bad.
We also need to change all the cabinets in the kitchen to different colors, there's a lot to do.
If we can't manage it... then we'll have to change the plan 😂
